Thanks to Mark Travis, lots of wonderful WHAS audio has been added. You can now download airchecks of Jim Walton's Waxworks (1949), Cawood Ledford's final UK Catcalls show (1992), a Terry Meiners' helicopter report of the Pegasus Parade (2000), and reaction to Cawood Ledford's death (2001). 

There are also newscasts from Cornelia DeBruin (1982) Beth Merrell (1992) and Shelly Catherine (1994), plus WHAS news coverage of Denny Crum's retirement (2001), the death of NASCAR's Dale Earnhartd (2001), the Governor Patton sex scandal (2002) and the Lexington plane crash (2006).

Two good-sized 1973 airchecks from WAVE Radio have been posted: one from Jim Lucas and one from Dick Dick Marendt. But were recorded in-studio and, with the exception of some occassional tape squeal on one of them, sound excellent. We only scoped down the records; all spots and newscasts remain intact. Our appreciation to John Owen for these gems -- as well as for the brief WLOU Aircheck of Ange Canessa.
